For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a therapist. I believe therapy is one of the most powerful healing agents, and feel so privileged to be in this field. I am a social worker, psychotherapist, mom, stepmom, and southerner at heart. Whether you are brand new to therapy, haven’t touched it in years, or can’t remember a time when you haven’t been in it, I would love to discuss working with you. As a social worker, I always view the person within the environment and seek to treat every client from a humanistic lens. Much of my clinical experience has been treating eating disorders and other co-occurring addictive behaviors. However, individuals have come to me for a variety of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, trauma, women’s issues, spirituality issues, codependency, blended family issues, and perinatal mental health concerns. I primarily work with adults but will also treat adolescents and their families. When I am not working, I love recharging with my family, being outside, or traveling back home to my native New Orleans for a good meal.
